Palm Beach Police and Fire Rescue

I am very excited to be a part of this team and to watch us grow to assist our 911 family whenever they need us.

I work for the Town Of Palm Beach Police and Fire Rescue and have been with them since 2015. I have served the roles of supervisor, FAC, DAVID POC, and am currently a CTO. I understand the different roles in a 911 center and the stressors that come along with each role. We are a smaller center with 9 current dispatchers and 2 in training, where we function in all capacities of calltaker, dispatcher, and teletype. We dispatch for our Police, EMS, Fire Rescue, Ocean Rescue, Parking, and Code Enforcement.

I started my Peer support journey about a year ago when I was accepted into APCO's Registered Public Safety Leader Program. When figuring out what I wanted to do for my project, I thought what better way to help the 911 community than with the resources to have someone who understands the full aspect of the job from taking the call to closing out not always knowing the outcome. Not being on scene has a different effect and I wanted to focus on that.

I am currently certified in CISM, Peer Support, and a First Responder Peer Support Interventionist.

When I am not at work, I am spending time with my husband and our three kids. I have a son who is 11 and two daughters who are 6 and 3. I love to be outside, gardening, and spending as much time as I can at Disney.
